TO LET YOU KNOW WHAT IS HAPPENING!

We want to let you know what you can be praying for and what is happening in Haiti.

Three of our churches are doing evangelistic outreach for a week. They are going out into their villages and sharing about Jesus with their non-believing neighbors. Yesterday they had five salvations and today there were two more. They would greatly appreciate your prayers as they continue for the rest of the week, for boldness, soft hearts and ears that are willing to listen. Their desire is to give hope to those around them.

Our church in Poteau has also been holding an evangelistic crusade. I would love to share with you a couple of the testimonies from the crusade so far.

The first is a testimony from a young girl named Lovemanie. In her words she is a new Christian from the crusade in Good Shepherd Church at Poteau. Lovemanie shares, “I am 21 years old. I have two children. I don’t have any bible to read to search for Jesus better. I grabbed the opportunity during the crusade to ask for Jesus. I used to go to church before, but since 2021 I was discouraged so I left church and lost faith. As a matter of fact, I didn’t understand anything I wasn’t regenerated. Now I feel God is doing great things in my life and I am understanding. My life is starting to change. I am not married yet because of economical impossibility. I am not working and my man is a motorcycle taxi driver. I am not healthy either, because of my economical situation. I am asking you to pray for me to be strong before satan and his demons. I am willing to serve God and promise not to fall back again. Thank you so much!”

The second testimony is from an 18 year old girl named Franceline. In her words ” I am in twelfth grade. I used to go to church but it’s been about five years since I stopped going to church. To tell you the truth since I was seven satan spoke through his medium to tell me that they choose me to serve as a witch doctor. I refused completely because I didn’t like it. Since that moment demons started to persecute me, they made me sick and afraid. Satan also does not want any of my four siblings to achieve school and be something special in life. He is attacking each of us differently. One is a homosexual, another sibbling the day before his official school exams, had his official identity burned. Last month on the last day of my examination, on the way back home, a very great whirlwind caught me and I became unconscious for a few hours. When I became conscious again all of my parents and family were crying as if I had died. I realized only Jesus could save me so I wanted to go back to church. The Church at Poteau prayed for me. I would also like prayers from Pastor Mike and his friends to prevail or crush satan, and to help me serve Jesus as my Lord and Savior. My parents are not Christian. My mom is a saleslady and my father is a farmer. I want to serve God and we really need bibles to read.”

Please pray for the new believers from the crusade in Poteau and the evangelistic outreach happening this week. We really appreciate your faithful prayers and support.
