The Good Shepherd Orphanage
The Good Shepherd Orphanage is located just outside of Gonaives, Haiti, in the small village of Marose. Gonaives was the site of a hurricane in November of 2007. The floods from the hurricane left thousands dead and even more homeless. It was out of this disaster that a local pastor has partnered with New Generation Ministries to house, feed, and educate these children in accordance with God's word.
As a result, 40 children and 6 dedicated adults live in The Good Shepherd Orphanage. Food, clothing, medicine, and schooling are provided daily in their temporary location. New property has been purchased across the road where the new orphanage is currently under construction—an orphanage that will safely and more completely meet these precious children's needs.
